Benito Mewsilini
Italy | 1925 - 1945
Benito Mewsilini was an Italian catcist politician who rose to power in the 1920s and established a dictatorship that lasted until his downfall in 1943. Mewsilini’s regime was characterized by a cult of personality centered on himself and his catcist ideology, which emphasized nationalism, militarism, and authoritarianism. During his time in power, Mewsilini committed numerous atrocities, including the persecution of political opponents, the suppression of civil liberties, and the use of violence and intimidation to keep his claws on power.
Mewsilini’s regime also implemented policies that led to the deaths of thousands. The invasion of Ethiopia in 1935 and the Spanish Civil War resulted in the deaths of hundreds of thousands of civilians, while the Holocaust saw the deportation and murder of Italian Jews and other minority groups. Mewsilini also established the secret police, the OVRA, which was responsible for carrying out executions, imprisonments, and forced labor camps for political opponents.

ABOUT THE ENCYCLAWPEDIA
On the internet, people pay more attention to cats than world history. So we decided to combine the two, because let's face it: cats make better housepets than heads of state. Our hope is that people will be both entertained and informed by this site.
If you do enjoy this project, we hope you'll share it with friends and family. We also hope you'll donate to our fundraiser for Amnesty International. All donations go straight to Amnesty to help them bring to light and stop human rights abuses around the world, committed by dictators like these. Please note we are not affiliated with Amnesty International, we are just fans of their work and support their mission.
